Sept 25th and 28th 2020 Dr. Patel and team did a two part surgery on the top of my spine through the front and back of my neck. When I was 1st told of the problem, of course I cried, and was extremely frightened. However, by my last visit in his office, before my surgery he had explained everything and was easygoing with any questions I had. I had come to have complete trust in him before ever going to the hospital, and all fear subsided. He does not make you feel rushed, and is a very caring person. He REALLY cares about his patients and I assure you I was most likely one of his most difficult as for some reason I expected to go home the day after the 2nd surgery. Didn't happen. However, with encouragement from Dr. Patel, and hospital staff I followed all instructions and got to go home 6 days later. The work he did is a masterpiece of work. The front neck surgery has the scar in a neck fold and is unnoticeable unless I actually raise my head to show someone, and the back of the neck surgery, I have had several Physical Therapist, my son and best friend say how well it looks. I affectionately call Dr. Patel the Michael Angelo of surgery. If you or anyone you care about needs a GOOD, and caring Orthopedic Doctor, he is the one! Thank You Dr. Patel and your wonderful team.
