Dr. Patel was the surgeon I chose after obtaining five different opinions, both ortho and neuro. Everyone kept expressing that a neurosurgeon is who I needed for my MIS TLIF for L4/5. Well, Dr. Patel is who you need and want. He took ample time explaining verbally and visually exactly what needed to happen. There really was no option to fix my issue with PT or injections, which had been recommended by others and had already been done previously. Given the severity, I was able to slip into a surgical slot within two weeks! It is rare to find a physician with his credentials, enthusiasm and compassion. Don’t waste your time with anyone else! His staff is also amazing, responding to questions quickly. If needed, Dr. Patel is my go to now!
